We can’t speak for how your last year went, but we’re more than happy with ours.
And we’re not just throwing around buzzwords about new big projects or clients – we’re genuinely proud of finally building a stable Atlassian community in Zagreb.
What started 18 months ago as the unofficial “ČUJ – Thursday Evenings with Jira” event has now grown into a fully recognised Atlassian Community Event that we host quarterly in the Croatian capital.
Our Atlassian Team Lead, Dominik Žarković, has also become the official Atlassian Community Lead for Croatia – a clear sign that we’re doing something right. The number of community members continues to grow with every event.
Now let’s look ahead to 2025.
Atlassian has already teased some pretty exciting things for this year, and here’s our rundown of what we think you should definitely keep an eye on:
New navigation is coming
The year kicks off with a major UI update for Jira, Jira Service Management, Jira Product Discovery, and Confluence. Atlassian promises a faster, cleaner, more intuitive, and more personalised navigation experience.
The Early Access Programme began back in October, and so far the feedback has been positive. Atlassian emphasises that they’re listening closely to user input and adjusting the final product accordingly.
Introducing Atlassian Focus
First announced at Team ’24 Europe in Barcelona last year, Atlassian Focus is set to become available in Q1 2025.
Focus is designed to help leaders and executives define, monitor and track their company’s strategic priorities by connecting them directly to measurable goals.
Looking ahead, Focus will also integrate team and financial insights with strategic priorities, helping leadership teams manage headcount planning and ensure the right resources are in place to deliver on business goals.

Another price increase for Data Center users – is now the right time to move to Cloud?
Atlassian continues to strengthen its identity as a cloud-first company.
Today, they’ve announced a new price increase for Data Center users in a move clearly aimed at encouraging more customers to migrate to the cloud.
If you’re still running on Data Center, now might be the right time to seriously consider making the switch.
DORA is coming – and Atlassian is ready
Atlassian is well aware that banks and financial institutions must comply with the DORA regulation, which comes into force on 17 January.
Not to worry – they’ve got you covered. Working with your Atlassian partners, you can remain fully DORA compliant while using Atlassian tools.
Thanks to new data protection capabilities and multi-cloud integrations, organisations can maintain operational resilience without sacrificing flexibility. Atlassian provides tools to monitor and safeguard sensitive data, helping businesses align with new EU directives and reduce the risk of cyber incidents.
If you have any questions about DORA compliance and how it relates to Atlassian tools, feel free to reach out to us.
Team ’25 is just around the corner
Atlassian’s biggest global conference is almost here!
Anaheim will host this year’s Team Conference from 8–10 April. Following the success of Team ’24 Europe in Barcelona, we’re confident that Europe will also see its own conference later this year.
These are just a few of the key updates for the year ahead.
As always, you can count on us to discuss all the latest news and developments at our Atlassian Community Events.
The first one is coming soon! 🙂
